I consider myself as a maker and craftsman. I aim to reach a point of understanding through processes of making with materials from a systematic approach. The act of labour and simplicity of repetition is the core of my practice which evidences the work; a dialogue between myself and the items I make, between the workshop, the process and what I choose to display. I reveal the conversation I have with myself as a craft practitioner, a visual language of form and function, materiality and value, practice and patience, light and shadow.
